Join me live on April 5th and 6th for GymCon® 2025 and discover
“Your Path to High Performance”
Chances are that when you started out as a gymnastics coach, you had pretty lofty ambitions.
You lived and breathed the sport, maybe you participated in it yourself, and then you realised you had an aptitude for sharing it with others.
You soon discovered the joy and the beauty that comes from helping someone improve, to get better, to excel; the adrenaline rush when your coaching results in improvement.
If you’re anything like me, that first taste wasn’t enough. You didn’t want to settle for “pretty good”, you wanted to play a key role in gymnasts reaching high performance level.
Pretty frustrating for all those coaches that really, really care about their athletes, and want them to reach that level.
Even more frustrating when you discover that the reason they don’t reach that level can have little to do with their level of “born talent”.
I’ve worked with gymnastics coaches for over 20 years, travelled the world, consulted for over 25 international federations and coached Olympians, so I’ve seen more than my fair share of athletes.
And I can tell you that high performance is a level that MANY more gymnasts could reach. It’s not always a “talent” issue. Often, the buck stops with you: the coach.
Here’s a home truth: most gymnastics coaches spend 90% of their time working on things that only impact a FRACTION of their programme.
Drills, skills, tactics, techniques; all good stuff, but all things that alone, aren’t going to move the needle from mediocrity to mastery.
But here’s the thing: it’s not YOUR fault. You’re a good, honest coach, you care about your athletes, and you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t want to better yourself and improve things for the gymnasts under your care.
And the reality is that most gymnastics coaches are incredibly willing to learn, but simply don’t have the information they need to make the difference; to move from coaching drills and skills to putting in place a programme that’ll provide a pathway to high performance.
In many cases, that’s a direct consequence of not being exposed to high performance – too often, you’re stuck in the four walls of your gym, with only a few YouTube coaching videos to help you improve.
Nothing changes, and as Einstein might have said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”.
If you truly aspire to produce high performance gymnasts, you need to step out of those four walls, and access high performance, however you can.
Truth is though, that’s easier said than done.
I’m fortunate enough to have travelled the world from a young age, learning from some of the greats in the game, from Takashi Kobayashi to Carol Angela Orchard.
I’ve rubbed shoulders with some of the greatest gymnastics coaches of all time, learning by osmosis, understanding what it takes to produce high performance.
Trouble is, those experiences aren’t available to most of us. We can’t all fly around the world, spending time with Olympic teams and the legends of our industry, for a whole bunch of reasons.
This year’s GymCon® is a fully immersive online experience over two days in April, giving you the keys to high performance, so you can deliver the best possible coaching for your gymnasts, make the most possible progress, and have true pride in every hour you coach, knowing that it’s built on the firmest foundations.
I’ve spent over 20 years immersed in high performance, and I’ve poured EVERYTHING I’ve learnt over that time into the event, drawing on my experiences working with international federations, world class gymnastics coaches and specifically tapping into my work with Olympians.
The content is “non discipline specific”, so whatever your niche, it’s for you.
Too many people think that ‘high performance’ gymnasts are born, not made.
Sure, natural talent helps, but the truth is that there are several specific ingredients that go into producing a high performance athlete.
We’ll deep dive into each of these ingredients at this year’s GymCon®, giving you total clarity on the elements that need adding to your coaching armoury to give you the best chance of success.
We all aspire to high performance, but many of us are unwittingly creating glass ceilings for our athletes.
You’ll discover why some coaches never reach high performance, and the specific modes of working you need to avoid in order to give yourself (and your athletes) the best chance of maximum success.
Performance is a puzzle: get all the pieces in the right place, and interacting properly with each other, and you’ll make more progress than you’ve ever made before.
GymCon® is great, but we all know that it’s what happens when you’re back in the gym that matters. We’ll share how you can seize opportunities in your everyday coaching environments to move swiftly towards high performance.
Theory is one thing; how you put it into practice is something else entirely.
You won’t just be bombarded with a load of information. Instead, we’ll take the time to ensure you’ve got a clear plan of how to fill your performance voids and immediately start getting better results with and for your gymnasts.
But if you’re thinking you’re getting 10 hours of snoozefest PowerPoint presentations, think again – the content has been specifically designed to engage online viewers, ensuring that we keep your attention throughout, so you can go away with the ideas fresh in your mind, and start implementing straight away.
GymCon® 2025 take place over two days (April 5th and 6th), kicking off at 3pm and running through until 8pm UK time, with short comfort breaks throughout.
Come with a notepad and pen, but don’t worry if you miss something – we’re recording the entire event. You’ll get full, lifetime access to every single second as part of your investment; you won’t pay a penny more.
In addition, you’ll also get one month’s access to a dedicated Facebook group after the event, where I’ll be on hand to answer your questions personally, and help ensure you actually make progress and implement what you learn during GymCon®.
*BEFORE WE GO ANY FURTHER – GymCon® 2025 is FREE for both Inner Circle and Gymnastics Growth Academy members. You do NOT need to purchase a ticket.*
That gets you access to the entire 10-hour event, lifetime access to the recordings after the event, and one month’s access to the alumni Facebook group where you can get help from me and your peers.
Having spent tens of thousands of my own money, travelling around the world to learn and grow, it’s clear to me that this represents incredible value for money – just over £10 an hour for a treasure trove of information you get to keep for the rest of your life, and WILL – if implemented – make a swift, tangible difference to the results you get for your athletes.
Secure your space at GymCon® 2025 by 6pm on March 28th, and we’ll knock £20 off your ticket, meaning your investment for the entire event, and lifetime access to the content is just £99.
On June 22nd, we’re providing virtual “How to Coach Floor” training for £57 per person. It’s five hours of practical information that’ll allow you to immediately improve your Floor coaching, and can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection.
I know that the content we’ve prepared can transform the results you get from your athletes, to help you finally take the step from where you are now towards true high performance.
I also know that this is what the gymnastics community wants AND needs, and having done the work to put together this game-changing content, I want to make sure as many people can access it as possible.
